Who are you and what do you do for Kishi?
My name is Quadri Osho, I’m the Creative Director at Kishi.
How did you end up on this career path?
It was between this and being a Jedi but apparently, the force wasn’t strong enough in me so I had to settle for the next best thing.
What inspires you to do what you do?
I just want to help people express themselves. One of the best feelings in the world is knowing what your purpose is, there’s a certain assurance it gives, no matter how bad things get you always seem to be able to press on. I’d love to be able to help people get that feeling. It all starts with self-expression, which starts with knowing yourself. When you know yourself you’re confident in who you are, and that confidence makes you bold. Self-expression can create a positive chain reaction that’ll completely change your perspective and perception of yourself and your environment.
Apart from what you do for Kishi, what interests you?
Basketball and Gaming. Everyone who knows me knows that “ball is life”. I spend most of my free time playing basketball, gaming, and watching Movies & Series (I’m kind of a Cinephile).
What changes do you think Kishi can make on a global level?
Hmmm…This is a tough one. I don’t think it’s really about what changes we can make, it's more about how we conduct ourselves. I think we can be an example of how an agency (or organization/company) can be run without compromising what makes them unique. Profit/Money is important but at what expense? You have people working for you in your organization who are clearly unhappy working for you and you choose to ignore them. In your hustle for success, you forgot how it feels to be at the bottom of the totem pole, you’re willing to bow to the highest bidder, your values have become generic, and you do not stand for anything.
It’s important to put people first, at the very least put yourself in their shoes because before anything else, before Creative Director, CEO, or Founder, you’re human first and should treat other humans accordingly.

Movie, Lord of the rings(1-3) & The First Batman Movie
TV show, either The Office or The Sopranos
If you could meet anybody in the world for dinner, who would it be and why?
Easy…Sean Carter aka Jay-Z aka Jigga aka H.O.V.
Why? Because I’m a huge fan. I started listening to his music when I was a kid. I learned a lot from it too. He has accomplished a lot for a boy from Bedstuy and I think it’ll be eye-opening to chat with him over dinner.
